The Ganghofer Museum Leutasch gives you a glimpse into the life of Ludwig Ganghofer (1855-1920). In his time, he was the most widely read and screened German writer. He spent more than 20 years in his hunting lodge 'Hubertus' in the Gaistal. Here he also wrote his most famous work 'Das Schweigen im Walde'. In the museum, you will also learn all about the history of the village and hunting in Leutasch. It is located in the old village school from 1950.
